F1 World Grand Prix 99
TODO: Rip PC music? On PC, DirectSound is used so the music is not stored in a clear and easy to convert format. This is likely Multimedia.LKF which might be compressed and does not have any header pointing to recognizable format. Also music is cracking a lot regardless of environment (VM or normal PC) used to play the game. PC Demo version also has this cracking music. Credits video from PC available. On PS1 music is in MUSIC.XA file with 6 songs playing during the race after enabling the option in race pause menu - use jPSXdec to get WAV files from it as well as convert movies from STR to AVI format. Main menu theme is likely in Start.LKF which is also non-extractable so audio was recorded using emulator. No credits in PS1 version. For N64, there is a Music Selection options menu where it is possible to select song. Files were not checked, only the HCS64 upload (playable in foobar2000) with MINIUSF which has more songs, some of them seem to be slightly different versions - no song filenames then. In Dreamcast there is also a Music Selection options menu to preview each song in the soundtrack but exiting it will switch back to default menu theme. In races there are 5 songs to choose from in pause menu. All music is in BIN format as Audio-CD so need to use bin2wav tool to get the audio - Windows/Linux will not read the audio data properly to rip it. Filenames added. Credits video available. Song titles ordered by the in-game menu or filename. For GBC, obviously no way to switch song or see the title, as music is hardcoded per menu.
