Need for Speed Underground 2
DONE. All data on PC is in sdat.viv, and there is a MusicSFx.mus file alongside TXTP files that contain song info to be playable in foobar2000. This MUS file also contains ambient audio. Game has EA Trax jukebox menu that allows to select songs and decide if they are disabled, playing in menu, playing in races or playing in both. Song titles appear in major platform releases and not in GBA / NDS / Java. Order of the songs is taken from that menu. Filenames taken from MUS file content. GBA uses GSFLIB and MINIGSF extensions once extracted from game files using gba_mus_riper. GBA actually has song titles defined in credits but they are very generic. BREW had music streamed from the Internet and supposed to have all the EA Trax available. NDS music seems to be heavily inspired by stock music from William Stein but no direct proof for it (see Disqus comments) - the related sound_data.sdat doesn't seem to be extractable by VG Music Studio or any tools. TODO: find where cut song by Mos Def appears as I cannot find it in FrontB.lzc and upload all the cutscenes separately? No CD albums to check. PS2 / PC demos checked. Credits videos available (except XBOX, NDS). Trailers checked. Licensed music titles checked. Links updated with music.youtube.com. Soundtrack (except BREW and NDS) available to download at http://vgm.hcs64.com
